We collect, clean, code, and analyze county-level data to provide consistent, comparable, reliable, and objective performance measures across the entire criminal justice system, from arrest to post-conviction, on a county-by-county basis. Measures for Justice is seeking to hire a software developer to assist in our mission of delivering criminal justice data to our public data portal. In this role you will work with our Director of Data Engineering, data scientists, and researchers and technology teams to design software to extend and scale our data-processing infrastructure.
In this position you will work with our Lead Software Developer to develop an internal suite of tools to help analyze and track criminal justice data coming into our data-processing pipeline. You will also work closely with our Data Quality Analyst to perform qualitative and quantitative assessment of the incoming data. You will develop processes and reports to keep organizational stakeholders informed on the assessment status. You will work with stakeholders to identify organizational needs and use your software development skills to help optimize this process and better integrate it into our data processing pipeline.
